About HWY 78 Jeep Club, Inc.

Our Story

HWY 78 Jeep Club was founded on a simple idea — bring people together through a shared love of Jeeps while making a real, positive impact in our local communities along the HWY 78 corridor. What started as a small group of Jeep owners connecting for rides and fellowship quickly grew into something much bigger.

We realized it wasn’t just about the vehicles.

It was about community.

From local meetups and family events to stepping up during times of need, HWY 78 Jeep Club has always believed that if we have the ability to help, we should. Our members are families, business owners, first responders, and neighbors who care deeply about the cities we call home.

We aren’t just building a Jeep club.

We’re building a culture of service, unity, and family-friendly fun.

The Journey to Lil’ Jeepers Day

Lil’ Jeepers Day was born from that same heart.

We wanted to create something specifically for kids — a completely free, high-energy, hands-on event where families could come together, make memories, and experience the positive side of the Jeep community.

What started as an idea has grown into a full-scale community event, made possible by generous sponsors, local businesses, volunteers, and families who believe in what we’re building.

And we’re just getting started.

What to Expect on May 16, 2026

On May 16, 2026, Lavon City Park will be transformed into a full day of family fun.

Here’s just some of what you can expect:

  • 🏰 Bounce House & Giant Slide for the kids

  • 🧗 Obstacle Course challenges

  • 🎨 Interactive stations like Color-A-Jeep and Decorate-A-Duck

  • 📸 Photo opportunities with Jeeps

  • 🛍️ Local vendors and community businesses

  • 🍖 Delicious food from Jeff’s BBQ and other food vendors

The park will be filled with laughter, energy, and families enjoying a day designed just for them.

And the best part?

It’s completely free to attend.

Powered by Community

Lil’ Jeepers Day is only possible because of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Local businesses step up to invest in something bigger than advertising — they invest in kids, families, and community impact.

Whether you own a Jeep or not, whether you’re a business owner, parent, or simply someone who wants to help — there is a place for you here.

HWY 78 Jeep Club isn’t just about Jeeps.

It’s about people.

And Lil’ Jeepers Day is what happens when a community comes together with purpose.
